Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to permanently delete your RouteBuddy account and what happens to your data.

This action is permanent and cannot be undone
Once your account is deleted, all your profile data, ride history, and wallet balance will be permanently removed. Any remaining wallet balance will be forfeited unless a withdrawal is requested before deletion.

Option 1 — Delete from the App

The easiest way to delete your account is directly from the RouteBuddy app:

Open RouteBuddy
Launch the app and make sure you are logged in.

Go to Profile
Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.

Open Settings
Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right corner of your profile.

Tap "Delete Account"
Scroll down to find the "Delete Account" option in red. Confirm your decision when prompted.

Option 2 — Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us. We will process your request within 7 business days.

📧 Please send your request from the email address associated with your RouteBuddy account. Include your registered phone number or full name so we can locate your account.

What Data Gets Deleted

Here is exactly what happens to your data when your account is deleted:

💡 Withdraw your balance first
If you have a wallet balance, please request a withdrawal before deleting your account. Go to Wallet → Cash Out in the app. Once the account is deleted, the balance cannot be recovered.
